Kiss The Bronco-"The Angelina Project" UIL Broadway Bronco Company Goes to Area Competition

Jack was selected to be part of the Broadway Broncos UIL Company this year.  He and several of his closest friends are in the cast. They are presenting the riveting play titled "The Angelina Project".  A couple of weeks ago, they performed at UIL district competition and advanced to Area competition. They will perform again for judges on Monday, with hopes of advancing on to the next level, and eventually, with a little luck, State competition.  This morning, the Company met in the Rotunda at Boyd High to Kiss The Bronco..a sweet tradition where the student body gathers to support and encourage their fellow Broncos during momentous achievements like this one.

 

Jack chatted with friends as they waited for the ceremony to begin. 

 

The Broadway Broncos listened intently on the speech given by the Principal of Boyd High. She spoke highly of the quality of the play, and their commitment to making it so fantastic these past few months.   

 

 

They are the first theater Company from Boyd to advance to this level in the history of

Boyd HS.

 

 

The moment has arrived....time to kiss the Bronco for luck on Monday.
